MUSIC REPRESENTS! is a family friendly live concert experience featuring a dynamic, newly commissioned work for chamber ensemble and narrator celebrating the captivating stories of influential black composers!

This is the first installment of an ongoing series that aims to address the lack of representation on concert stages by highlighting classical composers of color throughout history and encouraging the black community, especially our youth, to see their own reflection through the lives of black composers who look like them.
